Strategic Sourcing

Omar Awad is an experienced procurement and supply chain management professional with a proven track record in leading successful teams and operationalizing category plans. He is a practitioner of strategic sourcing using advanced tools, techniques, and methods that drive demand-side, supply-side, and total-cost optimization.

Omar’s experience extends to other source-to-contract life-cycle disciplines, including category management, strategic sourcing, commercial negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management. He has worked in various industries, including energy and utilities, healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and consumer packaged goods.

Omar is a graduate of Cleveland State University, where he earned both a bachelor’s degree in biology and an MBA. He holds several certifications, including Kaizen leader and Lean Six Sigma. In his free time, Omar enjoys reading, weight training, and exploring museums and historical sites.

Josh Elion’s career began at a small music technology startup, a work environment that fostered his entrepreneurial approach to problem solving. Josh moved on to aerospace manufacturing, where he gained exposure to a variety of product types from raw materials to OEM assemblies.

He has practical experience leading cross-functional teams to resolve supply disruptions, lower costs, negotiate contracts, and streamline processes at both the business unit and group levels. Josh has had the opportunity to develop and implement organizational design changes in both tactical and strategic procurement organizations. His category experience is primarily in direct procurement, with an emphasis on mechanical commodities.

Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in electronic media management from California State University Northridge and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Michael McCall is a sourcing, procurement, and consulting business leader with 15 years of experience. He has consulted with numerous Fortune 100 companies with the goal of reducing indirect spend, developing and implementing category strategies, and negotiating best-in-class contracts.

Mike’s areas of focus include category management, client relationship management, negotiations, procurement operations, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. Prior to joining ProcureAbility, Mike worked for Accenture in its operations practice as the industrial and MRO lead for North America. In this role, he collaborated with clients across multiple industries, including aerospace and defense, automotive, construction, food and beverage, industrial, manufacturing, mining, pulp and paper, oil and gas, retail, and specialty chemicals.

Mike has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and son. He enjoys playing ice hockey and spending time outdoors with his family hiking, kayaking, and golfing, as well as all things Philly sports (Go Birds!).

Seb Haroutunian is an accomplished procurement leader with over 20 years of experience. Over the course of his career, he has excelled at generating savings through volume-incentive programs, category management, and developing strategic sourcing strategies to aid in long-term savings goals. 

Seb’s areas of focus include internal process and efficiency improvement, personnel development, and overall value generation. Prior to joining ProcureAbility, Seb held many positions at the nation’s largest midstream company, Kinder Morgan. During his eleven-year tenure there, he managed several aspects of their indirect spend categories including MRO, leased labor, logistics, and uniforms for internal customers including IT, HR, and facilities. Additionally, he conducted CapEx and OpEx bid packages averaging $200M in awards annually. 

Seb has an M.A. in Behavioral Psychology and lives in Houston, Texas, with his wife, Jennifer, and three cats. He enjoys traveling, working on his 1987 T-Top Mustang, and cheering on the Houston Astros and Dallas Cowboys. 

With over two decades of experience in sourcing and procurement, Bridget has built a diverse career across industries including home building, manufacturing, and theme parks. She began her journey in direct materials and expanded into indirect services, developing a well-rounded expertise in procurement. While she’s had the opportunity to engage with many facets of the procurement process, Bridget’s strengths and passion lie in relationship building, data analysis, and strategic negotiations. Notably, her career has included sourcing unique items such as spare parts for attractions at Universal Studios Florida. 

Bridget holds a bachelor’s degree in supply chain and an MBA from the University of Central Florida, equipping her with both the technical and strategic insight needed to excel in this field. 

Outside of her professional life, Bridget has been happily married to her husband Brian for 20 years, and they are proud parents of four wonderful children. They live on 30 acres outside of Savannah, Georgia, where they enjoy the company of their family dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats.
